If we seek to address the injustices children face from a Children's rights perspective, you can only get so far. We want to go further. We have a far more powerful platform for change based on Human Rights

Accountability

As organisations and individuals we need to increase our accountability to children and young people. And accountability can only come when we respect children and young people.

Rights and research

Youth led research should promote the realisation of young people's human rights. Truly youth led research is about more than young people being involved - it means working with young people, driven by their questions and concerns.

Holding on and moving forward

We've made a lot of progress in the last few years - but we're at risk of loosing it all unless committed people stay committed, and engage in critical reflection to continue to move children's rights and youth participation forward..

Participation and change

There is no point in the participation of young people unless it leads to change.
