Banding refrigerators

Do anybody know that refrigerator produces CFC (Chloro Floro Carbon), which is very harmful to all the living creatures and to the ozone layer. These GE refrigerators should be banned from being used. We have to search of another alternative instead of those harmful refrigerators. Today, we are talking about green earth and we are using those materials which harm environment.
